Clinical Site Director - Full Time - Advanced Health

As a Clinical Site Director, you will be assigned a clinical site/office/facility for which you will oversee day-to-day clinical operations and serve as a point of contact for the providers in relation to clinical guidance.  You will also work closely and collaboratively with the assigned manager(s) to direct and manage the operations and general business activity of your assigned site/office/facility.  This will include reviewing financial and performance data, participating in staffing decisions, creating outreach, marketing and other creating strategic goals, and acting as a liaison between your assigned site/office/facility and other therapy sites/offices/facilities within NOMS Healthcare, along with all other departments and divisions of NOMS Healthcare.  In addition, this position will continue to provide therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care. This involves assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status and the home environment, as well as participating in the development of the total plan of care. 

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, and administering therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician according to state laws and regulation in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
  • Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
  • Ensures that any changes in patient status are documented accurately and entered on a timely basis.
  • The staff therapist coordinates delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (PTA’s).
  • Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs as indicated by the health agencies.
  • Accomplishes therapy strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing policies and procedures, implement coaching, training, counseling programs to help elevate site therapist skill set.
  • Ensure all appropriate patient documentation records are maintained in a manner which is in compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Provides therapy services by evaluating patient care protocols; measuring outcomes; researching and evaluating emerging trends.
  • Assures therapy quality services by establishing and maintaining departmental quality assurance program; including monitoring of quality indicators, and documenting actions taken to resolve problems.
  • Provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines.
  • Help develop therapy organizational strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Hold and document staff meetings, as necessary based on site needs.

Education & Work Experience:

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy
  • Must hold a valid license in the State of Ohio
  • Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience, preferred.

Efficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Programs (i.e.: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Environmental/Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an open are with other PT’s, OT’s and Speech Therapist. Work may be stressful at times.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Normal office environment. Work is typically performed at a desk or table requiring the use of standard office equipment. Intermittent sitting, standing, and stooping. May view computer screen for long periods of time. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.
